Oct 27, 2016 · I have collected all of the stones but the one in the Thalmor Embassy. I was there for the party and completed that quest but didn't grab the stone when I was there. Now when I go back to get the stone the door is locked and needs a key to get in.

Shit. There's a cave near the north side of the embassy, called Reeking Cave. There's no marker for it, so it can be a little hard to find, but the stone is in there. The cave you escape from has the gem now; it was moved so you don't have to get into the embassy to get it.23/24 Stones of Barenziah glitch, help needed.
