Prusa organic supports

Just curious what your thoughts on the organic supports specifically for the Benchy are? Conceptually and as a Demo, I think it is amazing. When I printed though, the back end bottom of Benchy (bottom of gcode) came out really rough, as did the back facing circular window. It makes me think that maybe a little more support is needed in these areas.

Variable layer height is not supported. Interface layers are not always produced reliably. As of now printing with zero interface layers is recommended, which produces easy to remove supports. I have noticed something however with my first print. The perimeter thickness of the organic structures default to a very thin wall thickness. So thin that a couple of places the print is just failing. I looked at the settings for something that would indicate the support perimeter thickness and I am missing it.Jan 30, 2024 · 3.
