Nov 15, 2023 · Tracking Performance: OpenXR vs. Ultraleap: When it comes to tracking, I’ve found OpenXR tracking (DCS VR Tab) to be superior to Ultraleap (DCS Special Tab) tracking, offering better touch points and fewer bugs. Practical Usage: During flights, I primarily use hand tracking for front panel controls and MFDs.

Swapped a 6900XT out, put the 7900XT in, performance is more or less the same. Maybe slightly faster. Should it work as intended it would be noticeably better at the same settings, but as of right now its a strict sidegrade with a so far unrealized potential for greater, once the drivers are sorted for VR.Repair DCS. Make sure update is in order. Align sensor. Recenter DCS in VR. Shift for proper HUD alignment. Then re-check HMD alignment. The shifting of the headset on your face will not realign anything. The sensor shifts to recenter what you had, and you are left with just an uncomfortable feeling on your face.
